Import Bookmarks Help

For Firefox:

1) To import Firefox bookmarks, all you have to do is select Firefox from the drop down menu, choose a folder if you want and then click the import button.

To import bookmarks from Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer you first need to export your bookmarks from those browsers. After you export your bookmarks, click on the browse button, locate the file and then click the import button.

Instructions for exporting your bookmarks:

For Chrome:

1) Open Chrome.
2) From the top menu items select Bookmarks. Then in the drop down choose Bookmark Manager.
3) In the Bookmark Manager, choose Organize Bookmarks. Then select Export Bookmarks. Save it to a place on your hard drive as desired.

For Safari:

1) Start up Safari
2) Go to File and the choose Export Bookmarks. Save the file to the Desktop or any other location of choice.

For Internet Explorer:

1) Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2) Click the Favorites button, click the arrow next to the Add to Favorites button, and then click Import and Export.
3) In the Import/Export Settings dialog box, click Export to a file, and then click Next.
4) Select the Favorites check box, and then click Next.
5) Select the folder that you want to export your favorites from, and then click Next.
6) By default, Internet Explorer creates a file called bookmark.htm in your Documents folder. If you want to use a name other than bookmark.htm or to store the exported favorites in a folder other than Documents, specify the new file and folder name.
7) Click Export. If you already have a file by the same name, Internet Explorer will ask you to replace it. Click Yes if you want replace the file or click No and type a new file name.
8) Click Finish.
